Method to not store data entered into a custom record

Guys,

    I have a custom record that is basically just an online form that individuals will use to submit requests. I have a workflow and email template that scrapes the data entered into this online form, then sends the email to a distro. As there is no actual need to have the submitted data stored in the database, is there a way to either 1. Not store the data at all, 2. Purge the data as soon as it comes in. I am WIDE open to suggestion. Thanks in advance!
