Create a custom table in Netsuite

Hello, I'm new to Netsuite and I'm wondering how can I create a custom table on the database. I've been browsing the documentation online for days but I haven't been able to figure it out. It's all so confusing!! I'd appreciate any help. Thanks in advance and sorry if it's a stupid question.
