Can we add custom fields to Vendor Price Lists?
I'm pretty sure the answer to my question is NO, and that the solution is to create a custom record to accomplish what we need, but I thought I might as well run it by folks that have more knowledge.
We need to store two custom fields called Price Premium, and Index Name on each Vendor Price List record that are used to determine the actual price the vendor will sell us a product for. For example, Vendor A, will sell us Item X at $3.00 over the standard market index price of $100. So our cost for Item ABC from this vendor = $103. Vendor B might offer this product at $4.00 over the standard market index. So the price from Vendor B will be $104.
