Customer Center Custom Form - Display custom Document field

edited Dec 3, 2019 11:53AM in SuiteCloud / Customization

I have a custom invoice that contains a custom field of type Document.  I created the invoice and attach the document to the custom field.  When view the invoice as an administrator, I can see the document and can view or download the file.  However, when I log in as a customer via Customer Center, this custom field is no where to be found.   Other custom fields (such as phone number) did show up.  There seems to be a problem with Document type.

I contacted support and they said that the feature is not supported and created an enhancement request (115532).  I wonder if there are any work-around.   I can't believe that it's not supported. It seems like a fairly common thing to do, attaching a document to a transaction to allow the customer to view it.  All help is appreciated.

Howdy, Stranger!
