Editing Custom Item Fields

edited Dec 3, 2019 11:52AM in SuiteCloud / Customization 2 comments

Just started in NetSuite, and have found I've created two custom item fields that aren't needed, and when I try to delete them, it won't let me saying:

NOTICE:  This custom field cannot be deleted because it is referred to by other custom fields.

I'm not sure what this means since I haven't used or referenced these item fields anywhere (that I know of, anyway), and I want to delete these, or rename and reuse them, but I can't do that since it seems I am unable to edit the Type or the List/Record, as if these are now locked forever.

Howdy, Stranger!
