Changing the stored form to no longer being stored

When we first launched NS about a year ago, the admin at the time thought it would be best to store the customer record form with each customer record.

Well now we are in the process of designing and implementing custom forms for all of our different sales teams. Unfortunately I was informed by support that the form that was stored will still take precedence over the new customized view until the record is edited. This is going to pose a big problem in training as we are trying to steer our sales staff to recognize the new forms as the standard. Plus the new forms are completely different than the original.
