Trying to pull in order to the purchase record, please help!

I'm creating custom transaction body fields applied to the purchase record with a sourcing from Sales Order and the E-Mail field. The custom field is set to E-Mail as well.

I created a new PO from a Sales Order and go to look at my custom field and nothing is being populated. I need to get this to work!!

I thought this was really easy to do?
