Nested List on HTML Online Form

I have a nested list setup which works fine on an Online form but when I try to use the same fields on a HTML online form the second field fails to pull data from the nested list.

e.g

Field A displays Divisions - i.e. Retail, wholesale etc
Field B displays business areas dependent on the selection in field A

As I say work fine on a Online Form but not an a HTML Online Form, hoped someone would know why/
