Keeping Units Type and hiding Unit details when customizing an inventory item form

edited Dec 3, 2019 11:48AM in SuiteCloud / Customization

Hey Everyone,

I'm a brand new administrative user to the wonderful world of NetSuite, as well as a new user to the User Group. In advance, thanks to any of you who might be able to help me answer the silly questions I might have. Let's jump right in, shall we?

I'm working on some basic form customization, just to get used to things. The idea is that in certain screens I am hiding things that we aren't really using in the system via form customization, and I noticed that one particular group of fields is acting somewhat oddly as compared to the rest. The fields in question are Units Type, Stock Units, Purchase Units and Sales Units, and from the standard Main Inventory Record template form it can be found under primary information.

Howdy, Stranger!
