Custom Column Field - Trandate + # of days
Hello,
I'm trying to create a custom column field for my "Estimated Ship Date". I have a field on my items record called "Days to Ship". I'd like a column field on my Sales Orders called "Expected Ship Date" which would simply be Transaction Date + Days to ship.
When I go to set a formula for the default value of my column field though I can't reach into my item fields. I tried creating another column field that is sourced from the "item - Days to ship", but that new field wasn't available to my formula either.
I'm guessing it has something to do with trying to add an interger or decimal value to a date field and returning a date field, but I'm not sure, just a guess.
