add custom table to subtab

Hello,

I've created a custom sub-tab on the 'Non-Inventory Item' form.  I have been asked to create a large number of custom fields on this sub-tab and it occurred to me that the data that will populate these fields will be presented much clearer in a table format.  I've looked around for the ability to create a custom table but haven't found anything.  Wondering if this capability exists to be customized in NetSuite.  Anyone have any experience with this?
