Employee on Purchase Order
You enter "{employee}" into the default value field under the validation and defaulting tab.
Not sure what you intend by having it appear on these other transactions, since the employee is only relevant for purchase orders.
Yes, you should uncheck "store value".

Further to a long-ago thread on this, creating a custom field on the PO, and entering a default value of {employee} no longer works, seemingly. I get an "ERROR: Field not found" in the contents on the form.
Does anyone have any other knowledge of to acheive the Employee name (utilmately on the print of) on a PO?
