Custom Calculated Entity Field
I'm attempting to make a field (on the vendor form) which calculates the balance that is currently past due. As far as I can tell, the options native to Netsuite only show the overall balance for the vendor. It would be an inline, un-editable field in the balance information section.
Once I create the new field, I could only find a few areas that I think may have what I need, but both have problems:
1) First option would be to try and source it from a saved search (which I have already made), but in the "Validations and Defaults" tab, it doesn't list the search I made. In fact, it only shows one search which as far as I can tell is not particularly different from any of the others. So as a secondary question, what causes a search to show up in that drop down box?
