Using Advanced PDF Template to Print Checks

I am attempting to use Advanced PDF Templates to print checks as we want to order Blank Check card stock, without bank account information already printed on the form, and use the information stored in NetSuite to print it out onto the check.  Is this possible to accomplish?  Specifically getting the Bank Name and Account / Routing #'s to print in the normal spots on a check sourced from the data stored in the account set up in the Chart of Accounts.

The answer I received from NetSuite support was to create a SuiteScript or Workflow that will accomplish this task, though I feel there has to be an easier way.  If anyone has been able to use this method, please let me know.
