Division (custom column field) doesnt show in P&L report

we have division as a custom column which states that particular expense/income has been made on which division.
on Journal entry division is selected on line level which is different in debit and credit. when we see P&L report it shows correctly when we see as per department, class or location, but when we see it division wise it doesn't give any effect or the entry is not shown when filtered via division.

any suggestion what could be wrong. if any further explanation is needed to understand problem do let me know.
