<#list> on sublists on PDF/Advanced HTML template

Hello, I am trying to access the Communication->Activities Sublist records on an invoice record from inside an Advanced PDF/HTML template. I understand the syntax, I just need to know what ID (record.x) to pass to the <#list> element to get these values.

I have tried the following without success:

<#list record.activity as task> * HTML GOES HERE * </#list>
<#list record.communication as task> * HTML GOES HERE * </#list>

Is this even possible? Any help would be much appreciated.
