Custom Segments - Can't Access Parent

edited Dec 3, 2019 11:47AM in SuiteCloud / Customization

We switched to the Custom Segments introduced by NetSuite from a couple of custom fields to keep track of what Industries are customers are in.  For example one Parent Industry is Aerospace and the subsegments under Aerospace we have the following:
ID     Value                                          Parent
  2    Aerospace
10    Air Cargo                                     Aerospace
11    Aircraft Manufacturers                  Aerospace
12    Aircraft Repair and Maintenance    Aerospace
13    Space                                         Aerospace
14    Airlines                                        Aerospace

If I run a saved search I can set in the Criteria to either the "Parent" or the "Value" field which is shown as "Name".  So if I want to run a search for those customers who are in the Aerospace industry I would just set the criteria for Parent = "Aerospace".

Howdy, Stranger!
