Change Title on Transaction Form Screen

Anyone know if it is possible to change the Title of a transaction as displayed on the screen? Ideally, you could control this with a condition. For example, I would like to  display the title "Bid" for Purchase Orders that are "Pending Approval". Once they are approved, the title should change back to "Purchase Order" on the screen.
