Transaction Line Field

Procurement would like to see what is on order by location when they write the Purchase Order at the Line level. Created an Transaction Line Field Label Item on Order, Type=Decimal Number, Source List = Item, Source From = On Order. When they add the item to the purchase order - this field populates the total number on order across all locations. The purchase order is written for an specific location, can't find anything under source list by Inventory Location. Does anyone know of a way to resolve this?
