Parent-Child Custom SubTabs
I had an issue today when creating 2 new custom SubTabs. One was to be the parent of the other. I was doing this according to SuiteAnswers article #10114. After creating the parent SubTab, I was unable to see it in the "Parent" field of the second SubTab. That was stopping me from making a parent-child relationship.
The reason: Unless a SubTab has a field in it, it doesn't show on a form. Therefore, you can't have another SubTab under it. So it cannot be selected as a parent.
The solution: Move a field to the parent SubTab first, then create and assign the child SubTab.
