Make Deposit list

Every day when we go to "make deposit" for our daily deposit the checks are listed in check order.  Sorting them by date does not seem to help.

Is there anyway to get them to appear in the order that we entered them?  When we process hundreds of checks it is very cumbersome to have to hunt back in forth in the list to prepare the deposit.
