Credit Card Reconciliation - No bill payments?

Hello,

Can someone tell me if it is a bug or a feature that when I go to reconcile a credit card, that it doesn't find any previous bill payments for that credit card? It looks like it will only find checks, not bills.

If I want to reconcile credit cards do I have to pay them with checks without entering a bill into A/P? Is there a workaround?
