Daily Closing Balance for Online Banking Statement

I'm looking to generate a report showing the closing balance of an account on a daily basis to use as part of the bank reconciliation process.

Currently we load the Online Banking Statement interface and set the date for that which we're interested in, but we have to change the dates for each individual day being reconciled.

From what I can see the Online Bank Statement can't be used in saved searches or saved reports? is this correct? Is there any other way of querying this data?
