Reconcile MES backend transactions for NS sales after the fact

Hi
We are looking at authorizing credit cards transactions offsite via a terminal, into the MES back end. Then entering the sales in NS after.  Does anyone do this? How do you reconcile the transactions between the two systems? Thankx
