Searching multiple prices fields

Can any folks help with searching multiple price levels fields of items?
It would be very handy to be able to search for, for instance, all items whose selling price "X" (not the base price, but another price level) is null, etc.
I cannot seem to search on these fields.
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
