Global Search doesn't work on partial numbers
Unless my memory is shot, global search used to search on partial numbers just like it searches on partial words. For example, "boo" finds the matches book, books, booking, bookie, etc. However, 123 will currently only find the match 123 and it does not currently find the matches 1234, 1235, or 123456789. Yes, I can add the % suffix to a number to get the behavior I want, but this is really counter-intuitive (words do stemming but numbers don't).
Is this the way NetSuite is supposed to work now? If not, is there an issue #?
Thanks,
- Miguel
P.S., this made me look like an idiot this morning and panicked a customer when I couldn't find their PO # in our system.
