Problems in global search with ID

Hi,

I have a issue of retrieving results for a custom record from the global search by entering its id. I have the same custom record type in the sandbox and it works fine. But after I transfer the same custom record in to the production (without its records) side by using a bundle, the same function doesn't work.  

Any reasons behind that? Do I need to enable any features?
