Inline Editing Permissions

edited Jan 3, 2020 1:07AM in Search / Reporting 8 comments

Hey all, my apologies that another newbish question is coming your way,

I've set up a saved transaction search that has a results column that I want one of my users to be able to change via inline editing. I'm able to change the field normally when I am in my administrator role, but when I switch to the user role (which has fewer permissions activated) I am unable to select the column, even when inline editing has been turned on.

I've made sure that the display type for the field is normal, and the customer has the field available on the form that is set as their default. I've also gone down NetSuite's list of reasons why a field might not be editable from a search and have come up with nothing. Considering that I am able to edit this column as an administrator, I get the feeling that a permission of some sort is getting in the way here.

Howdy, Stranger!
