Advanced Commissions/Items

We have advanced commissions and advance jobs that allows us to pay sales reps based on profitability, but only based on the profitability of Inventory Items.  Is it possible to pay reps a % of the GP for Service Items for Resale?  Also, is there a way to automate the commissions based on the profitability of a job?
