Schedule Change - need confirmation on this
It's been awhile since I've had to make a commission change so I want to confirm with the group (and hopefully NetSuite) before going forward.
We have an existing Employee Plan, assigned and active with a single Schedule. Let's say one item on the Schedule pays a flat $50 on billing. I now want to increase that to $60. I only want the change to effect future commissions that have not already been authorized, I don't want to make the change and then find that I have 2 years worth of already authorized comms. wanting another $10 authorized.
I believe I need to make an entire new Plan and Schedule, end the current one then start the new one. Can anyone confirm?
