Commit Inventory...

Does anyone know if we can turn this function off?  We have some inventory items that we purposely allow to go into the negatives.  But with the commit function we are unable to bulk fulfill because of the items that are in the negatives.  Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks.
