Units of measure vs. kits
I'm at a bit of an impasse here with units of measure... Let me start from the beginning.
Back when we first moved to Netsuite, we were looking at how to best deal with the challenges of selling our products in different lot sizes (eaches, cases, etc.), while receiving them in other lot sizes (eaches, cases). For some of the products, it turned out that we received the items in eaches, but only sold case lots.
We decided to setup units of measure, and they worked well for this instance.
That was then - this is now... We no longer create POs or receive items in eaches when the item is only sold by the case (which is most of our items now).
