Order Items

On the "Inventory Tab" in the "Item" you can see "Safety Stock Level". I have spent considerable months now fiddling with the "auto reorder" section within Netsuite is no positive results. I have logged cases and been convinced of fixes a few times now.....NOT TRUE NETSUITE!!! Even the help section does not correctly describe this feature as it confuses amount with days....
I was initially advised that Netsuite update the levels every 24 hours, then weekly, then monthly....now I am advised that the equations are fixed, that the correct amounts will be ordered and that Netsuite update daily. I am now in my second day, have set 50 items, all with zero stock, to have a safety level of "1". My idea on this is that under Transactions/Order Items that I should see Netsuite wanting me to order these items?
