Unable to Add or Change any inventory items

Help

we are unable to amend or add any inventory products

we can open the inventory card, and make changes but when we try to save the changes we get the following message.

Notice
   Items you have requested in the record have been deleted since you retrieved the form
 
this is happening with all of our inventory stock.
