New Location - First Transaction A Credit

I want to issue a credit for goods that won't come straight back to us.

I opened a new location to credit the goods back to, but because the location has no history it doesn't attach a value to the goods coming back in.

Any idea how I can get round this and attach a value to the goods coming back?
