Bill of Material process

Hello All,

We are a manufacturer of computer systems and are strongly looking at the BOM/Bill of Material as a very good option for us.

I have many questions on how it works and its process flow regarding this.

I am aware of how to setup the BOM, but have questions of how one goes to actually build a product once a sales order has been generated with a back order.

If anyone is using the BOM process and would be willing to offer some of your experience I would like to get in contact with you perhaps to pick your brain a bit on how this is working for you.
