Kit members do not respect units of measure

I brought up this issue months ago, but didn't press the issue because I wasn't using NS for eCommerce.

Now that I'm getting ready to launch my site using NS, I need kit members to respect units of measure.

Example - I need to sell only case lots online. I have the default Sale Unit set to CASE in the item master. However, when I add this item to a kit, the Units defaults to EACHES.

While I can work around this issue internally, it will not work when printing invoices, as I want my customers to see exactly what is included in their shipment.
