Universal Items- How to manage inventory for it
Hello All,
We sell ink cartridges and have about 20 universal mother items: items that are compatible with other brands and items, which makes it a total of 50 items that are compatible between each other.
The way this is set up in Netsuite currently is each item has its own SKu and price, and web link. However, it is confusing most of the people at work and causing inefficiencies. When we purchase items, it is purchased under the mother item. However, when it is shipped, employees use the actual name and description of all items,resulting in negative quantities on hand for children items.
