Enabled MultiLocation Inventory, Simple Distribution, and my inventory is gone!!!

I have just reported a bug - I enabled Multi-Location inventory, and set up my initial distribution as a simple distribution to my existing warehouse location. I got an error message saying that the number of items available (48) did not match the number of lot numbers (49) with the NS equivalent of the blue screen of death...the white error page....

When I went to look for my inventory at the individual item level there is no sign of any quantity in any of my items, no lot numbers, etc.

However, when I view it using List/Items/ ALL view, for example, it does show items available.
