Items with same UPC - No Match

Some manufacturers use the same UPC for multiple SKUs.  For Example a hat might come in Small, Medium & Large, but all three sizes have the same UPC.  When you are trying to add one of those items to a transaction, when you scan the barcode, Netsuite returns no match.

Does anyone else have this problem?

PS - Why does the search on the forums bring up 0 results when you search for UPC?
