Barcoding inventory mangement

Hi, I run a small warehouse, about 3500 parts. We are moving in the direction of bar coding all parts, and possibly using scanners for picking orders. Does anyone else have any experience in this process with Netsuite? Possibly software that will integrate with netsuite, or scanners that have proven to work well? Any ideas will be highly appreciated!
