Consignment Inventory

Anyone out there dealing with consignment inventory using NetSuite?  Through a lot of AJE's we can somewhat get what we want, but not ideal.  Looking for anyone with a better system in place that works.

Currently, we are raising a sales order so we can label and ship, this will remove the items from inventory and charge to COGS, but it will also raise an invoice to hit revenue and AR so then we must do an AJE to reverse it all but have the COGS hit the new inventory account "Consignment - Inventory' labeled with the various customer. 

We have to have to open multi customers that are identified by the story number (some 300+) and this becomes the issue.
