Performing Annual Inventory

We are about to perform our annual inventory count of the warehouse.  This is the first time we have done it since implementing bins.  We use lot numbered items as well so it looks like we are going to have to use inventory worksheets for non-lot numbered items and inventory adjustments for lot numbered items.  Does anyone have a good procedure they are willing to share?  Are there any warnings or pitfalls that you have seen?
