Netsuite for 3PL

Does anyone out there use a customised Netsuite version for use as a WMS for third party logistics (3PL) activity?

My understanding is that Netsuite is geared predominantly toward people who hold stock of their own that appear on the balance sheet rather than holding goods for someone else that shouldn't appear on the books anywhere, that therefore drives all the subsequent activity and flows.

We could try setting up a non-posting GL account to manage the client's inventory and a custom "sales order" process to take care of the fulfillment order activity.

Would we be better off looking for systems that interact with Netsuite rather than modifying Netsuite to suit our purposes?
