Assembly Inventory

I have an Assembly that we sell frequently.  We want to keep track of how many we sell, and keep track of the raw materials used to build the assembly.  What I dont want is to keep track of how many Assembly's are built.  This would require a work order to be processed with the correct amounts built every day.   I just want to place a sales order, It would then build the assembly and subtract the raw material with out any errors or questions. 

Any thoughts on how best to do this?
