Mass Update Prices
We have switched on the option to Include Tax with all our prices.
Setup > Setup Accounting > Setup Taxes > Tax Calculation Type = Tax Included
So for all the Inventory Items, the Base Price is shown including tax.
An example is as follows;
Example Inventory Item - Base Price = 117.50
We then run a Lists > Mass Updates > Update Prices
Within this, we tell it to take 10% off the Base Price and to round the price to the nearest pound.
This update then adjusts the Base Price to £90 - this is NOT 10% off the Base Price.
Instead, it has removed the Tax content from the Base price before taking off the discount.
