Received Returned Kit Items to different locations

Hello,
I need to receive the members of a returned kit to different locations; some returned items should go back in stock and some to a "damaged" location. We don't want to print the kit items on sales orders. Is this doable in a straightforward way? If not I'd appreciate anyone who has done this to give a few pointers on what they did to solve the problem.
