Proper way to turn multi location on without stuffing up old records

edited Nov 26, 2019 8:39AM in Accounting / ERP

Has anyone successfully turned Multi-Location on after years of transactions and managed to update all inventory accurately especially for Quantity on Order?

Because turning on multiple location will "erase" all the stock quantity for all locations, I need to update them back into the system.
No problem with updating Preferred Stock Location and Re-order point using CSV import but having problem with ensuring that PO and Quantity on order in existing PO gets updated correctly in Inventory record.

Quantity on Order gets calculated based on existing open PO and location on existing open PO has been updated to the new location.

Howdy, Stranger!
