Commit members of assemblies

If I have an order that has a quantity of 200 of my assemblies. But I only have 50 on hand.  It would commit all the 50 on hands to this order.  But will it commit enough of the member items to build the other 150 assemblies. so that if those members are needed for another items we don't over use the member parts and run out.
