What happens to Quantity on Order for an item after multi location and distribution?

What will happen to "Quantity On Order" in inventory item after multi location is turned on and after distribution, since I can only distribute
Quantiy on Hand and Value to a location and not Quantity on Order?

Is Quantity on Order on my Open PO going to disappear since turning multi location on, sets all inventory items to a Null location  .

How do I receive open PO items into the correct location?
